COURSE SUMMARY: What
does bleeding on probing on probing (BOP), bleeding on scaling,
radiographic bone loss, and calculus have in common? They are all
reactions to a periodontal infection! What would happen if we could
flip this reactionary model to be more proactive then reactive? We
would treat the periodontal infections, and at earlier stages, we
would have better and more predictable treatment outcomes, our
bodies and hands would thank us, AND we not only save more teeth,
but we would also save more lives! This course will demonstrate how
salivary diagnostics is one of the best tools for giving us an edge
in providing proactive oral wellness.
