​COURSE SUMMARY:  Dr. Grace Sun is a world-renowned cosmetic dentist and ceramist who has been practicing advanced cosmetic and laser dentistry in her Los Angeles practice since 1983. Dr. Sun’s inter-disciplinary training is far reaching, specializing in cosmetic and laser dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, implant dentistry and dental ceramics. She is an advocate of neuromuscular and myofunctional dentistry encompassing the overall well-being of the patient. An Accredited Fellow with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Dr. Sun holds many of the highest and most prestigious distinctions in dentistry, including Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, Mastership with the Academy of Laser Dentistry and she is a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She is a senior instructor with the International Association for Orthodontists (IAO) and, as an early adoptor of laser dentistry, Dr. Sun has published several peer-reviewed articles since 2000 and has held various committee and board positions with both ALD and AACD in recent decades.

About the Speakers:

Dr. Grace Sun, DDS; FAACD, MALD, MAGD, MICOI

​Dr. Grace Sun graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1981 and has maintained a full-time comprehensive cosmetic practice and dental laboratory in the Beverly Hills, California area since 1983. Dr. Sun utilizes multiple wavelengths of dental lasers in various treatment procedures. A renowned educational advocate, Dr. Sun holds several prestigious statuses including Master of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as Master and Educator of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD). As of April 2021 Dr. Sun concluded a seven year tenure on ALD’s Board of Directors. Dr. Sun is an Accredited Fellow with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the first female Accredited Fellow in AACD history, where she served 7 years with AACD’s Professional Education Committee. A published author and recipient of the prestigious Leon Goldman Award for Clinical Excellence in Laser Dentistry, Dr. Sun lectures internationally for laser education, holding Mastership status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and is a senior instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO).

Dr. Chianni Lin, DAOM, LAc, Dipl OM

 As a Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in Santa Monica, California, Dr. Chianni Lin is highly respected as one of the leading Eastern Integrative Medicine providers serving Los Angeles. Dr. Lin holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree from Emperor’s College, one of the preeminent Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine programs in the US. At the Center for Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, Dr. Lin integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition and movement (yoga, qigong) to improve the health of her patients.
